In coorperation with the Metro Manila Ministries, two Philippines Church of Christ congregations offer children free education - teaching them how to read and write, while at the same time sharing God's Word.

Administrator of Metro Manila Ministries, Remy Kingsley shared, "We offer free tutorial classes for children 3-6 years old in Marikina, Cubao and Balubad areas. This is the cooperation between Metro Manila Ministries and the Churches of Christ in those 3 areas."

"We give them free education by teaching them how to read and write and at the same time teaching the children the Word of God. Parents are encouraged to study the Bible as well. Through this effort, souls are being saved. By giving this free service, we are reaching the community in their physical and spiritual needs."

"We will do a mission trip in Feb-March 2009 and serve the community in the metro Manila area. Visit our site at www.metromanilaministries.org for more updates," she added.

Three areas - Cubao, Friendly Village Marikina & Twinville and Marikina had already participated in its campaign to offer tutorial classes at the begining of this month. Many parents from Twinville, near the Balubad area, Marikina City attended the orientation last June 6 succesfully. Another parents' orientation was also held on June 14 at Friendship Road in Marikina. During the orientation, purpose of providing free tutorials for kids as well as the rules and regulations of the centre were discussed.

The Metro Manila Ministries evolved their mission through sharing the love of Christ by providing support for spiritual, financial, and physical needs in the metro Manila area.
